Sonandes is a platform dedicated to the promotion and dissemination practices sound contemporary, brings together creators who research, develop and exhibit projects associated with sound and listening. It promotes the production and research as a path of knowledge and collective thinking. Encourages the creation of specialized exhibitions in sound art and the study of the senses, it assesses the international cooperation and the importance of building a culture of listening.
Since 2014, he has developed a multidisciplinary work and conducts meetings and activities such as: Sonandes Biennial International exhibition of Sound Art (2014-2024), Ports Program of Residencies (2018-2025), projects, labs, exhibits, and publications.

Sonandes International Biennial of Sound Art
Since 2014, our biennial works on the interaction between practices sound contemporary, public space, and collaborative creation. The line of work focuses on the city and its inhabitants, pointing to the local context as a space for creation. The biennial promotes the production and the work at specific sites, where the vast majority of the parts and devices are developed by custom-made for the different editions.
Ports Residency Program
A way to weave netsamong local artists, communities and visitors from other latitudes. Through the exchange of knowledge are molded methodologies of work that develop thematic and relevant experiences to the communities.
We seek that the residences are performed in different cities of Bolivia with the goal to decentralize our practices and relate to different audiences.
Projects
from the experiences developed in the residence halls and laboratories, are selected those projects with the greatest potential for generate meaningful dialogue with their respective contexts. The creation of networks around an artistic project specific helps to highlight local issues and promotes the construction of narratives collective transcending the boundaries of the studio or workshop of the artist.

We have the experimentation, based on the research and reflection. We delve into new techniques, materials and methodologies, articulating teams around projects that end with samples open to society.

Our group practices involving the systematization and documentation our creative processes. Guided by the need to foster critical thinking, we generate documents that will allow the long-term reflection.
